NORTH SULAWESI VOLCANO AND RAFTING I Duration: 06 DAYS / 05 NIGHTS START/FINISH: MANADO Grade: EASY – MODERATE Day 01 : MANADO ARRIVAL – TOMOHON Arrive in Manado, we take you directly to flower city, Tomohon. Have dinner and stay overnight at the Lokon Boutiq Resort. Day 02 : TOMOHON – TOURE – SOPUTAN BASE CAMP After breakfast we will continue program by heading to Toure Village one of entrance gate of Soputan Volcano. Take a break before we continue our trip to pine forest of Soputan Base Camp. (B, D) Day 03 : BASE CAMP – SOPUTAN PEAK – WINORANGIAN – TOMBATU Early morning after breakfast, We start the trek to Soputan peak of 1.784 m.a.s.l. From the peak of Soputan we can see the panorama Manimpok Valley and Amurang Bay in further. From the top we will trek down trough the valley of Manimpotrok and direct trough the narrow trail to Winorangian Village. Picked up by car then we continue our journey to Tombatu Village. Dinner and overnight will serve at Tombatu Home Stay. (B, L, D) DAY 04 : TOMBATU – LOMPAT LAMA – RANOYAPO RIVER RAFTING – CAMP In early morning after breakfast about 7am, we will continue our journey to Lompat Lama Village one of upper course of Ranopayo River, the longest river in Minahasa. We will arrive at Lompat Lama village approximately at 9am. About 10am we will start the rafting in Ranopayo river for about 35 Km and we will enjoy the beauty and natural view around the river. We will move aside to take a rest for a moment and having lunch before continue to wade across the river. Before late afternoon, we will stop for overnight in the jungle. Dinner and overnight will be served by the guide. (B, L, D) Day 05 : CAMP – RANOYAPO RIVER RAFTING - BUYONGON AMURANG Early morning after breakfast we will start the river rafting journey trough the forests and we able to see the monkeys chasing each other. Stop for the lunch in afternoon. Afterward we continue the trip for about 3 hours until we arrive at the finish point at Ranoyapo Bridge in Buyongon Village, Amurang. Dinner and overnight will serve at Buyongon Hotel Amurang. (B,L) Day 06 : MANADO DEPARTURE After the breakfast, we will drive to Manado city and stop for lunch in coastal beach of Manado then continue drive to Sam Ratulangi Airport. End of program. (B) NORTH SULAWESI VOLCANO AND RAFTING II Duration: 07 DAYS / 06 NIGHTS START/FINISH: MANADO Grade: EASY – MODERATE Day 01 : MANADO ARRIVAL – TOMOHON Arrive in Manado, we take you directly to flower city, Tomohon. Have dinner and stay overnight at the Lokon Boutiq Resort. Day 02 : LOKON AND MAHAWU VOLCANO TREKKING Early morning, after breakfast from the resort, we trek to Lokon volcano of 1580-metre high above sea level. It takes about 4 hours trekking to reach the edge of the crater and back to starting point. We will have lunch at a traditional restaurant in Tomohon city. Afterwards we drive to Rurukan village. Rurukan is famous for its vegetables yield of Minahasa. Start from Rurukan we trek to Mahawu crater, and from the peak we would be able to see spectacular scenery of Minahasa highland. From Mahawu we drive back to Lokon Resort.
