MERU BETIRI NATIONAL PARK TREKKING

HIGHLIGHT
 
Meru Betiri National Park is not that famous even among Indonesian people. It will guarantee you to have challenging trip to the deep of the last remaining forest in Java. There are three ecosystems : mangrove, swamp forest and tropical rain forest will give you different experience in each environment.

Wildlife and plants also traditional fishing villages, watching animal and natural lab for research, watching turtle laying eggs by the beach. Exploring jungle, finding hidden coast, and swimming in crystal clear beach.

At Meru Betiri you will experience natural beauty from untouched jungle into mountainous area in east Java. We will also take you to the line of south side beach of Java famous for the great waves.

ITINERARY:

Day 01 : SURABAYA ARRIVAL - AMBULU – BANDE ALIT BEACH
We will pick you up at Juanda airport with air conditioned vehicle to Ambulu, then proceed to Meru Betiri National Park by jeep, continue to Bande Alit beach and stay overnight. (D)
 
Day 02 : BANDE ALIT EXPLORING
Start exploring Bande Alit and surrounding such as : Japanese cave, savannah, canoeing by the river or looking for mussels on the beach. (B,L,D)

Day 03 : TREKKING TO MERU BAY
We will trek to Meru bay, crossing rivers and tropical rain forest then continue exploring the bay. The next activity will be fishing or looking for mussels for dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 04 : TREKKING TO PERMISAN BAY
In the morning we continue trekking to Permisan bay until lunch break. After taking enough rest we will keep on trekking to Sukamade. At night you will enjoy watching turtles lay their eggs by the beach of Sukamade. This would be your unforgettable experiences during the long trekking. (B,L,D)

Day 05 : TREKKING TO THE HIJAU BAY - RAJEGWESI BEACH
Using lorry we  come close to the Hijau bay then continue trekking to reach the Bay. If possible we will have a dip swimming in the area. Then we will continue to Rajegwesi beach and stay overnight there. (B,L,D)

Day 06 : RAJEGWESI - JEMBER - SURABAYA
In the morning we will pack and ready to back to Jember. Then we will take you back to Surabaya and come to an end of the trip. (B)

Day 07 : SURABAYA DEPARTURE
After breakfast check out from hotel then transfer to the airport for next destination. (B)
