The Gede-Pangrango national park embraces within is boundaries the twin mountain Gede and Pangrango which are connected to each other by a saddle shaped valley. Mt. Pangrango is steep triangular shape whereas Mt. Gede is domed shape.

Building now demolished stood there and was known as Kandang Badak. Enroute, there are two or three huts, you may enjoy taking a dip in the hot spring, it is bifurcated up hill from Pondok Kandang Badak to reach the peak of Mt. Pangrango, climbing through the forest at 1000 m high – the peak of Mt. Pangrango is located in a thick and moldy forest from where no view is visible, climbing down the peak westward you will find the field of edelweiss flowers (Lembah Suryakencana). From the peak of Mt. Gede, you can enjoy a broad view of a scenic panorama and an exotic scene of the big wall "kaldera", Mt. Gede has three living craters.

Day 01 : JAKARTA - CIBODAS - KANDANG BADAK
Proceed to Cibodas in the morning. Climbing commence to Kandang Badak. Overnight in tents. (L,D)

Day 02 : KANDANG BADAK - PANGRANGO PEAK - KANDANG BADAK
Repackaging, from Kandang Badak continue to the peak of Mt. Pangrango – explore the ridge – trekking down to Kandang Badak afterwards, camp here for the night. (B,L,D)

Day 03 : KANDANG BADAK - GEDE PEAK - GUNUNG PUTRI - CIPANAS - JAKARTA
Re-pack from Kandang Badak climbing to the peak of Mt. Gede – trekking down – commence the trek to Suryakencana (there’s a field of edelweiss flowers) – to Gunung Putri and to Cipanas where you will be transferred back to Jakarta. (B,L)
