Meet the Indonesia Trekking Team LEONARDO J.I. PADEATU
Director  Born 40 years ago in Manado, North Sulawesi. His friends in the community call him Uncle Le or Polahi. Hobbies are photography, mountain biking, cooking and expert in driving cars and motorcycles. Active in Boy Scouts Community from the time he’s in elementary school until college. One of the founder of North Sulawesi Nature Society Community Forum (1988) and Sam Ratulangi University “Wapala” Nature Society (1992). Former Head Division of SAR University and Head Rescue Unit of "MPA-Equil": www.mpa-equil.com, Economic Faculty (1992 - 1993 period). Instructor to several club for photography, jungle survival, SAR management. His previous jobs were in several adventure operator in Makassar and Jakarta. Now he set up his own business known as INDONESIA TREKKING.

ARIS YANTO
Vice Director and Webmaster  Aris founder of Indonesia Backpacker Community, is passionate about volcanoes ever since he first visit to Volcano Mountain and Jungle Trekking. He is an experience on some National Park Explore, Jungle Trekking and Volcano Adventure in Sumatera, Java, Bali, Lombok, Flores, and Sulawesi. When he met Leo, they agree to build an adventure business together and they found INDONESIA TREKKING. Aris is the expert in IT and the Webmaster of INDONESIA TREKKING website. He is responsible for Network Operations and Technology.

SEKAR IKANANDANTI H.
General Affair  Ika was born in 1975 and grew up in Jogja. Her previous activities were in advertising agency (2000 - 2001) and HR Development Consultant for indoor & outdoor training (2001 – mid 2006). In INDONESIA TREKKING, she is responsible for General Affair activity.

FABIOLA CAROLINA
Finance Manager  Born and grew up in Manado. She is married and established her private business since 1990. Her hobby is travelling. In INDONESIA TREKKING she is in charge with administrative and treasurer.

YOSEP ROBY
Operational Manager  Roby was born and grew up in Bandung. This forester who graduated from Winaya Mukti University Bandung has been involved in outdoor activity since he was a young adult. Almost all peak of the mountains in Indonesia have been explored by him. His 12 years experiences in outdoor activity and adventure made him expert in program designing, implementation, as well as becoming a leader guide.

A. RULLY MAWARDI
Asst. Operational Manager
JAVA, BALI, LOMBOK and SULAWESI REGION  Rully was born and grew up in Jakarta. He has interested with outdoor activities since he was in elementary school. He joined up Nature Society when he was at senior high school at SMA 37 Jakarta (TRISAPTAPALA) and Theatre Club (Sanggar Buana Bangsa 37) even the activities has to stop for few times because of his main duty as an athlete of SEA GAMES XIX National Training Centre and DKI Jakarta for canoeing sport. He is still continue his hobby of outdoor activities with his friends from other nature society and few operators as a freelancer. He is also member of Volunteer Corps (KSR) Indonesia Red Cross Society (PMI) South Jakarta Branch and has some specialty trainings, such as : advance first aid, vertical rescue, fire rescue, intermediate water rescue, emergency ambulance training. He is responsible for organizing and manage guides and trips for Java, Bali, Lombok and Sulawesi Region.

YUYUN KURNIAWAN
Asst. Operational Manager
WEST INDONESIA REGION (Sumatra and Kalimantan)  Yuyun was born in Jakarta at 1975. In 1996, he moved to Pontianak to study at University of Tanjungpura Pontianak - West Kalimantan majoring in forestry, and live there till now. His hobbies are jungle trekking, research on biological conservation and community development activities. At the moment, he had trusted to be a Coordinator of Alliance for Kalimantan Rescue named AKAR, which is settled to response endangered bornean wild animal from extinction. He is interested to join with INDONESIA TREKKING as he thought that tour operator is one of key players to support eco-tourism program for strengthening field basis of conservation efforts.

STEVEN DRIVE LIWE
Asst. Operational Manager
EAST INDONESIA REGION and CARSTENSZ PYRAMID OPERATION  As a black-belt holder of Karate and martial art instructor, Steven who was born and grew up in Manado, North Sulawesi. Also active in all range of extreme sport activity, and 15 times reached the summit of Carstensz Pyramid 'one of the world's seven summit' Sudirman Mountains, West Papua in 1999 – 2001 periods. He was a former of World League Indonesian Rafting Team in Gauley river USA in 2001. In the last two years had been reached the summit of Carstensz Pyramid for 13 times as a leader guide and also manage the expedition.

DAUNWATI
Company Doctor  She is a doctor, graduated from Trisakti University 1998 was born in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. Recently worked in public health clinic in Sei Asam and became the head of the clinic in Segedong, West Kalimantan both position for two years. She was a health officer in World Vision International for one year and more three years in Care International Indonesia. She is now joining INDONESIA TREKKING, meanwhile she’s taking her Master specialize in nourishment at University Indonesia.

FRANDY 'huido' TUMIWA
Contact Person for Australia  Born and grew up in Manado, North Sulawesi. Participate in several organization of nature environmental (now and then). He Volunteer Corps in Red Cross & 'Equil' Nature Society when he was in college at Economic Faculty of Sam Ratulangi University. At the moment he lived with his wife in Surry Hills, Sydney and he is the contact person for Australia.

APPAY GINANO
Contact Person for Europe  Appay who was born at Mogolaing Kotamobagu, North Sulawesi has a high activity in many kind of organizations such as Volunteer Corps of Red Cross when he was in college at Economic Faculty of Sam Ratulangi University. Nowadays he lives in Saint Clair, Normandie - France with his family while taking his major at 'Technicien en Logistique et d'Entreposage AFPA'. He is the contact person for Europe Region.
