ORANGUTAN WILDLIFE ADVENTURE TOUR I
Duration: 3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS
START/FINISH: PANGKALAN BUN
Grade: EASY

DAY 1 : PANGKALAN BUN – KUMAI
Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport you will be picked up by our local staff and take you to Kumai to board on the boat. The boat is a traditional klotok wooden river boat about 12m by 2.5m with a roof which forms the upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it glides by. The guide's team includes the boatman, a cook and expert guide. In the peaceful afternoon we will slowly explore the quite river by the klotok while observe the monkeys along the riverside. Dinner and overnight on the boat. Simple mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled "mineral" water, mosquito net, kitchen, simple toilet available on boat besides the familiar - helpful guides and boatmen, or spend the night at the lodge near by the river. DAY 2 : PARK – PONDOK TANGGUI – CAMP LEAKEY – BOAT/LODGE
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up river for about 2 hours boating and then up a side creek to Camp Leakey where the older orang utans  are reintroduced into the rain forest. En route stop at Pondok Tanggui, the rehabilitation center for the new ex-captive orang utans, see feeding time at 09am. Then proceed to Camp Leakey. After lunch on the boat you will have opportunity to take small trekk before see feeding time at 14.00 pm for old rehabilitation orang utan given additional foods. Overnight on the boat or at Rimba Lodge. (B,L,D)

DAY 3 : BOAT/LODGE – KUMAI – PANGKALAN BUN AIRPORT
Transfer to Pangkalan Bun airport for next destination. ( B )

DAY 1 : PANGKALAN BUN – KUMAI – PARK

After breakfast board the klotok to travel up river for about 2½ hours boating and then up a side creek to Camp Leakey where the older orang utans are reintroduced into the rain forest and also known as research center for orang utan. Trekking through tropical rainforest searching for wildlife, wild orang utan, birds and other rainforest animals as well as tropical jungle plant. Back to the boat for lunch then witness feeding time at 14.00 pm for old rehabilitation orang utan given additional foods. Overnight on the boat or at Rimba Lodge. (B,L,D)

DAY 3 : PARK – PONDOK TANGGUI – CAMP LEAKEY OR PESALAT – BOAT/LODGE
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up the river for Pondok Tanggui, the rehabilitation center for the new ex-captive orang utans, see feeding time at 09.00am. Afterward is your free choice You can take the 2^nd visit at camp leakey or continuing the trip to Pesalat replantation camp, See the process of replantation project or take this opportunity to hike at forest (for additional we could arrange the night walking on this place searching for nocturnal animal or blowing mushroom) Free afternoon program, we could visit village near by the park. During night, boat down the river to see fireflys along ninah palm mangrove (depends on the weather). Overnight on the boat or at Rimba Lodge. (B,L,D)

DAY 4 : BOAT/LODGE – KUMAI – PANGKALAN BUN AIRPORT
Free morning program until time transfer to Kumai then to Pangkalan Bun airport for next destination. ( B )

The guide's team includes the boatman, a cook and expert guide. In the peaceful afternoon we will slowly explore the quite river by the klotok while observe the monkeys along the riverside. Dinner on the boat and overnight on the boat or lodge. While overnight on the boat we serve thin mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled "mineral" water, mosquito net, kitchen, simple toilet available on boat besides the familiar - helpful guides and boatmen. (B,L,D)

DAY 02 : ORANGUTAN EXPLORATION
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up river for about 2 hours boating and then up a side creek to Camp Leakey where the older orang utans are reintroduced into the rain forest. En route stop at Pondok Tanggui, the rehabilitation center for the new ex-captive orang utans. At Camp Leakey you will have opportunity to trek into the rain forest with your expert guide and the forestry rangers to appreciate the flora as well as perhaps sighting wild orang utans, gibbons, macaques, and birds. Lunch provided on boat. Afternoon visit the feeding station to see rehabilitate orang utans are given additional foods. We will then sail back down the river to overnight on the boat. (B,L,D)

DAY 03 : EXTRA DAY AT THE PARK
The extra day at the park you will explore deeper in the jungle, trekking in the different trails, and you may encounter different orang utan both wild or ex-captive and other wildlife, tropical rain forest of Borneo, and different beauty of nature. We can guarantee that the tropical rain forest of Borneo and its natural beauty will spoil and make your best of life time adventure experience. Meals and overnight served on the boat. (B,L,D)

DAY 04 : EXTRA DAY AT THE PARK
The extra day at the park you will explore deeper in the jungle, trekking in the different trails, and you may encounter different orang utan both wild or ex-captive and other wildlife, tropical rain forest of Borneo, and different beauty of nature. We can guarantee that the tropical rain forest of Borneo and its natural beauty will spoil and make your best of life time adventure experience. DAY 05 : ORANGUTAN EXPLORATION – NEXT DESTINATION
After breakfast boating down to Kumai before transfer by car to Pangkalan Bun airport for your next destination. In the appropriate time, transfer out to the airport for your next destination. (B)
