Mt. Rinjani, at 3,726 m asl., is the third highest mountain in Indonesia. In a valley high up on the western part of Mt. Rinjani lies Segara Anak Lake (2,208 m asl.) whose sulphurous-smelling water has different temperatures from one part of the Lake to another, ranging from cool, through warm, to very hot. A new volcano is emerging from the centre of this Lake, and it is still active and growing.
 
Particularly with the coming of the rice-planting season, the communities in the vicinity quite often hold ritual ceremonies on Mt. Rinjani and at Segara Anak Lake. One involves releasing small artificial fish made of very thin gold into the Lake.

Cultural attractions outside the Park area include, in Mataram, Perang Topat in December, and Ciwaratri in January.

DAY 01 : LOMBOK ARRIVAL - SEMBALUN LAWANG
Arrive Lombok, meet and transfer to Sembalun Lawang village. Free program for final preparation. Overnight at a guest house. (B,L,D)

DAY 02 : SEMBALUN LAWANG - CAMP PLAWANGAN II
Early morning start trekking up to Plawangan campsite. Overnight in tent (B,L,D)

DAY 03 : SUMMIT of MT. RINJANI -SEGARA ANAK LAKE
In the dark starting trekking to up to the summit of Mount Rinjani (3,726 M) to catch the sunrise. After taking photograph and some rest then descend down base camp for breakfast. Proceed down to lake Segara Anak to camp overnight and have a shower at the hot Spring (B,L,D)

DAY 04 : SEGARA ANAK LAKE
We spend the day at Segara Anak to enjoy the cool mountain atmosphere as well as the beautiful panorama of the area surroundings (B,L,D)

DAY 05 : SEGARA ANAK LAKE - PLAWANGAN I - SENARU - SENGGIGI BEACH
Early morning trekking down through the tropical rain of Rinjani National Park to Senaru village. Proceed drive to Senggigi beach for overnight at a hotel/bungalow (B,L,D)

DAY 06 : MATARAM DEPARTURE
Morning after breakfast free till transfer to Mataram airport for your flight to your next destination (B)
