DIVING IN WAKATOBI

Day 01: MAKASSAR ARRIVAL
Arrive in Makassar, the guide will pick you up and take you to the hotel. (D).

Day 02: MAKASSAR – WAKATOBI
Eat breakfast in the hotel, transfer to the airport for a flight to Wakatobi. As soon as you arrive, check-in to a hotel and in the afternoon go sightseeing, visit genuine sea gypsy village and the local market. (B,L,D)

Day 03: WAKATOBI TREK
After breakfast we go on treks through some of the remote villages of Wakatobi with curious, welcoming village-folk, unaccustomed to and enthused by, the sight of foreigners. (B,L,D)

Day 04 – 05: DIVE IN WANGI – KALADUPA
Dive in Wangwangi offering a dazzling array of mixed coral forms at all depths. In the afternoon we sail to Kaladupa, first you swim along a sandy bottom of snake eels and flounders, then gently drift along the craggy wall past beautiful pristine corals and anemones housing all manner of shrimps, crabs and nudibranchs. Overnight in bungalows. (B,L,D)

Day 06 – 07: DIVE IN TOMEA – BINONGKO
Tomea diving site has a varied topography with walls, ledges and overhangs. Only when the current is very slight is there time to nose around, as usually you will drift at a reasonably leisurely pace along a great stretch of reef. In the afternoon sail to Binongko, when you dive sinking in through rays of light you will be instantly greeted by large schools of fusiliers, and red-tooth triggerfish swirling around. Overnight in bungalows. (B,L,D)

Day 08: WAKATOBI DAPARTURE
In the morning after breakfast prepare your bags and get ready to leave these beautiful islands. Proceed to the airport for departure. (B)
