MOROWALI AND WANA TRIBES ADVENTURE

DAY 01 : MAKASSAR ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at Hasanuddin airport in Makassar then transfer to hotel. After check in we will take you on a city tour around Makassar, visiting Fort Rotterdam an old Dutch fortress, Port Paotere, the Buginese harbor. We will have dinner and stay overnight at a hotel.
 
DAY 02 : MAKASSAR – SOROAKO
Early morning after breakfast, we will go to Soroako by car for about 12 hours trip along the Buginese villages with their typical houses. Lunch will be served in seafood restaurant in Palopo, precedes a scenic drive with many photo-stops en route. We will have dinner and stay overnight at a hotel in Soroako. (B)

Day 03 : SOROAKO – BETELEME - KOLONEDALE
Early morning after beakfast, we continue to the next trip by crossing Matano lake with our car on a wooden boat (Big Katinting) to Nahu village and then drive straight to Beteleme where we will have lunch. After lunch, we proceed to the old Kolonedale harbor city. We take a rest and stay overnight at Lestari homestay, Kolonedale. (B,L)

Day 04 : KOLONEDALE – KEKEA - MARISSA
After breakfast, with wooden or speed boat we sail across Tomori bay to Morowali nature reserve. Entering Morowali nature reserve area by walking through Morowali river estuary, then we trek through mangrove and rattan forest, also crossing over several tributaries. We stop by at Kekea, take a rest for awhile and have lunch before continue the trip to Marissa village. We stay overnight at a hut of Wana tribe. (B,L,D)

Day 05 : MARISSA – KAYU POLI – RANO BAE
After breakfast, we trek along Tandonga tributary where Wana tribe moor their boat. Trip continue to Rano Bae (Big lake) by a small boat to go around the lake. Take a rest and lunch will be served at a hut by the side of Rano Bae. After that,we continue trekking to Kayu Poli valley one of highland area at Morowali. We will explore Kayu Poli area before trek back to Rano Bae, where we stay overnight at the hut. (B,L,D)

Day 06 : RANO BAE – MARISSA
After breakfast, we start our returning trip from Rano Bae then go along Tandonga tributary by boat before we get to Marissa Village. The rest of the day will be fulfilled with exploring Marissa village and get in touch with Wana tribe community. We take a rest and stay overnight at the Marissa village. (B,L,D)

Day 07 : MARISSA – KOLONEDALE – BETELEME - SOROAKO
After breakfast, we proceed to Morowaly lake estuary, then sail across Tomori bay by wooden boat (Big Ketinting) and leave for Kolonedale city to Beteleme. The next trip will continued by car to get to Beteleme where we will have lunch. After lunch, we continue the trip to Soroako through Matano lake. We stay overnight at a hotel at Soroako. (B,L)

DAY 08 : SOROAKO – PALOPO - MAKASSAR
Early morning after breakfast, we leave for Makassar via Palopo. We will take about 12 hours land trip with several breaks for a rest. We stay overnight at Makassar. (B)

DAY 09 : MAKASSAR DEPARTURE
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport to catch the flight for your next destination. (B)
