DANI, KOROWAI AND ASMAT TRIBES ADVENTURE

DAY 01 : JAYAPURA ARRIVAL
Upon arrive at Jayapura airport, transfer to a hotel. Rest of the day will be free for final preparation. (L,D)

DAY 02 : JAYAPURA - WAMENA - JIWIKA
Fly to Wamena at Baliem valley. Proceed drive to Jiwika. Explore Dani villages surroundings. Overnight at simple local guest house in Jiwika. (B,L,D)

DAY 03 : DANI TRIBES CEREMONIES – WAMENA
Enjoy the Dani tribes ceremonies and other traditional activities of the Dani tribes. Drive back to Wamena. (B,L,D)

DAY 04 : WAMENA - YANIRUMA
On chartered missionary flight depart to Yaniruma airstrip, one of the entry points to the Korowai tribes settlement. Explore the area surroundings. Overnight at a guest house. (B,L,D)

DAY 05 : YANIRUMA – DAMBOL
Crossing the Dairam Kabur river on canoe. Proceed trekking through the tropical rain forest. Overnight at tree house or shelters. (B,L,D)

DAY 06 – 08 : KOROWAI TREE HOUSE TRIBES EXPLORATION
Trekking from Dambol to experience the days of exploration in searching for the community of the Korowai tribes; trekking in the dense swampy forest, crossing rivers. We join their daily activities such as gathering foods of sago, fishing, and hunting or setting animals traps, etc. These are challenging but enjoyable days, overnight in tents. (B,L,D)

DAY 09 : JUNGLE - BASMAN
Proceed trekking to Basman, a village bordering the Korowai tribe and Citak Mitak tribe. Overnight at simple local house. (B,L,D)

DAY 10 : BASMAN – SENGGO - JINAK
With motorized canoe down stream of Dairam river to Jinak via Senggo, passing the local Citak Mitak tribes, birds and the beautiful rain forest. Overnight at local house at village of Jinak. (B,L,D)

DAY 11 : JINAK- ATSY – ASMAT VILLAGE
Another long ride to Asmat village via Atsy on the big rivers of Wildemann and Sirets. Overnight at Men house or school. (B,L,D)

DAY 12 : ASMAT CEREMONIES
Enjoy the traditional ceremonies such as ritual songs, drumming, canoe racing and Mbist pole. (B,L,D)

DAY 13 : ASMAT VILLAGE – AGATS
We sail back to Agats. In the afternoon walking around Agats to see the local people life and also visit art museum of the Asmat tribes. Overnight at Asmat Inn. (B,L,D)

Day 14. AGATS – EWER – WAMENA 
Breakfast, by motorized canoe transfer to Ewer air strip to catch the charter Mission flight to Wamena, upon arrive transfer by car to Baliem Pilamo hotel for check in. Rest of the day is free program at hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 15 : WAMENA - JAYAPURA – DEPARTURE
Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to Wamena airport for a flight departure to Jayapura by Trigana Air. Continue your flight to the next destinations. ( B)
